Liquid matte lipsticks are currently taking the make up industry by storm and every cosmetic house is coming out with their own spin on this must have item. The Inglot HD Lip Tint Matte had it’s South African launch in June 2016. This lipstick retails for R499. I completely understand if you don’t want to read any further after seeing that price 🙂
These matte lipsticks can be found in 10 different shades.
I’m inlove with the matte lipstick trend however I hate the drying feeling that some matte lipsticks have so I’m always on the lookout for a comfortable wear on the lips.
I got my hands on shades 19, 15 and 17. I tried to be more daring for a change hence my choice of number 19.
These liquid lipsticks come with the general doe foot applicator however the formula of these lipsticks suprised me:
- They are absolutely creamy yet dry within seconds.
- Highly pigmented with just 1 application
- Non drying on the lips so definitely a comfortable wear
- True to the colour seen in each tube
- Extremely good lasting power – I literally have to scrub my lips to get the colour off.
Upon closer look at each tube, I noticed tiny gold specs in every shade. These gold specs are rarely noticed on the lips however they are the only complaint I have on these matte lipsticks.
So are these lipsticks worth R499? I think if you have the means to splurge then these are defintely one of the best matte lipsticks on the market.
However, if you’re on the hunt for cheaper options then keep a look out for my next post which will feature a list of other matte lipsticks you can get your hands on.
